Uganda Musicians’ Associations (UMA) Presidential candidate, Cindy Sanyu has declined any plans from her team to cheat the forthcoming elections as its beng rumored. Since her nomination for the ‘steamy’ Presidential seat last month, reports from different sources have claimed that Cindy, UMA General Secretary Phina Mugerwa and the UMA electoral commission chairman Mr. Jeff Geoffrey Ekongo have established malpractice plans in the elections. However, during her interview with a local radio station the “Boom Party” singer has distanced herself from the allegations of malpractice. Cindy brands these false rumors which require proof before even reported to Police. “Its very easy to talk. I want someone to talk with proof but not rumors. If they say we are stealing votes now, its also likely that they are also doing the same at the moment if we are to go by the rumors.  Someone should have proof before talking.
