  Kasimu Siraje Kaduyo aka Snash King “Da Vocalist” (SKDV) was born on February 1st 2000 in Katwe Kinyolo in Kampala.   The   Santorini Challenge   was trending number one on Twitter at the time of writing this article. Based on videos we have viewed,ladies could be seen jamming to French artiste  Gamma Lab ’s Santorini song. It begins with the women covering up, then they later change into bikinis (as bikinis can be heard in the song) and shake their backsides. As part of promoting the song, some of the ladies can be seen wearing their normal dresses while jamming to the new tune. TikTok started the trend and now it is sweeping across social media platforms. About Santorini Song? Gamma Lab  is a French artist who composed and recorded the song.  Despite being released two months ago, on 15th September,2021, the song has generated massive attention today because of the trending hashtag #SantoriniChallenge which has spread to other social media platforms. Gamma Lab hails from Guadeloupe in France.

  The President of the Uganda Musicians' Association(UMA), Cindy Sanyu, won't be hitting the stage anytime soon. She is carrying her second child, and her health is delicate to move around. The musician who is known for putting up energetic performances is not ready to disappoint her fans because she can not dance.  The "boom" party singer explained that she has been receiving a lot of international calls to perform in the UK, USA, and South Sudan but she will resume performances sometime next year. "I am receiving several calls from the UK, USA, South Sudan, and here at home, but I am on leave. I don't want to disappoint my fans, I don't have the energy to dance or sing," she said. Cindy is known to be one of the best performers in the Ugandan music industry.

  It is no longer a secret that Sheila Gashumba is one of the top influencers that promote Nigerian music in Uganda. She is on the payroll of Nigerian musicians like Adekunle Gold, and Patoranking. After joining the NBS After5  last week, viewers have warned her not to endorse Nigerian music during the show. They will not entertain it.  This warning comes at a time when the rival show on NTV, The Beat is dominated by Nigerian music and interviews.  NBS After 5 has been in existence for five years and it is the biggest promoter of Ugandan music. One person is confirmed dead and 30 others are injured after a Gateway bus heading to Kotido overturned outside Soroti town today. The accident at about 11am at Camp Swahili, about two kilometres from Soroti town on the Soroti-Katakwi-Moroto road. The bus registration number UAD 694U overturned and killed a boda boda cyclist instantly. The deceased was only identified as Onongo, a resident of Ogorai village, in Arapai sub-county, Soroti district. The survivors told Uganda Radio Network that the driver of the bus tried to avoid knocking cows that were crossing the road and overturned in the process. Among the people injured included police officers, a prison wardens and UPDF soldiers. The injured were rushed to Soroti regional referral hospital and Princess Diana hospital in Soroti town. Events promoters’ wants government to allow them stage some events during the festive season so they can make some ka money. During his last presidential, President Museveni gave Ugandans an assurance that the economy will fully open by January. “Be informed that schools will be opened in January and the rest of the economy will be opened in the same month,” he said. However, Ugandan events promoters feel January is too far and have therefore asked the government to at least allow them host shows during the festive season. They even promised to speed up the vaccination process by encouraging the public to be vaccinated through the adverts they will be making ahead of those shows. “The festive season is upon us and it’s during that period that we work most. We are appealing to the government to allow us hold shows on Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year then close us again on January 2nd 2022 if need be,” said Balaam Barugahara, an events promoter.
