Kampala Promoters Don’t Pay Well Says Gravity Omutujju

Gravity Omutujju is arguably the most booked musician in Uganda.

The majority of Gravity Omutujju’s work comes from upcountry.

When asked why he prefers upcountry gigs, Gravity Omutujju claimed he turns down most of the Kampala bookings because promoters don’t pay well.

He also said he tries to be scarce in Kampala as a way of building up momentum for his annual concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

It should be noted that Gravity Omutujju is one of the few local musicians that have managed to accumulate assets from music.
